Question 1

The pattern of the number series is :

353 + 1 = 354

354  - 3 = 351

351 + 5 = 356

356 - 7 = 349

349 + 9 = 358

So 358 is the right answer.

**********************************************

Question 2 :

The pattern of the number series is :

1 + (2)^2  = 1+4 = 5

5 + 2^3  = 5+8 = 13

13 + 2^4 = 13 + 16 = 29

29 + 2^5 = 29 + 32 = 61

61 + 2^6 = 61 + 64 = 125

So 61 is the right answer.

**********************************************

Question : 3

The pattern of the number series is :

45 + 1 * 12 = 45 + 12 = 57

57 + 2 * 12 = 57 + 24 = 81

81 + 3 * 12 = 81 + 36 = 117

117 + 4 * 12 =117 + 48 = 165

165 + 5 * 12 = 165 + 60 =225

So 225 is the right answer

**********************************************

Question 4:

The pattern of the number series is :

17 + 1^3 = 17 + 1 = 18

18 + 2^3 = 18 + 8 = 26

26 + 3^3 = 26+ 27 = 53

53 + 4^3 = 53 + 64 = 117

117 + 5^3 = 117 + 125 = 242

So 242 is the right answer

**********************************************

Question 5:

The pattern of the number series is :
(1/4) + (1/4) = 1/2

(1/2) + (1/4) = 3/4

(3/4) + (1/4) = 1

1+ (1/4) = 1(1/4)

1(3/4) + 1/4 = 2
